About the author
The author was born in England. She spent her formative years in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She returned to London in nineteen eighty-six, after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and French.
At twenty-five, she wrote her first unpublished book Prejudice: Myth or Reality subtitled The Power of Love. In response to the advice of the literary agent who told her to spend time grounding her hypothesis in real life, she studied psychology and journalism. She went on to work as a freelance reporter and staff researcher for the BBC, before dedicating the subsequent years to testing her hypothesis in projects with young people, schools and government. She started writing again in 2008 and finished the five-book project in 2011.
She has spent the subsequent years conceptualising solutions for the issues she explores in the series, taking time out for herself, writing essays and poetry about her adventures since 2011 and qualifying as a Prince2 and Agile project management practitioner.
